Landscope Christie’s re-launches the sale of ‘1 Alpha Place’

Landscope Christie’s and the UK developer Zagora will re-launch the latter’s new development “1 Alpha Place” in Jordan Street, Manchester, United Kingdom. The project is scheduled to be completed in March 2015 with 999 years leasehold.

An exclusive exhibition will be held by Landscope Christie’s at The Excelsior, 281 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th January from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. This follows the successful sales launch in November, 2013 in Hong Kong.

“I am very pleased with the sales result by Landscope Christie’s International Real Estate in their initial launch in last November. They did a brilliant job in bringing 1 Alpha Place in Manchester to the Hong Kong market,” said Mr. Russell Robinson, Executive Director of Zagora Developments. “We have witnessed an increasing demand from Hong Kong investors for UK properties, especially those in good locations in large cities,” he added.

Mr. K. S. Koh, Chief Executive and Founder of Landscope Christie’s said the overwhelming response to 1 Alpha Place had reflected a huge demand for good quality properties with lower price points in major UK cities, as more Hong Kong investors join the foray into this popular investment market. He went on to say that the sales achieved in November had encouraged the company to re-launch the project this month.

Manchester has the UK’s largest university campus with a habitation of over 85,000 local and international students. The project is located in the city centre, surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars and nightclubs. 1 Alpha Place provides units with sizes from 290 sq.ft to 590 sq.ft, offering 57 studios and 3 one-bed room apartments rising over 7 floors, all of which enjoy quality interior design. The developer will provide guaranteed 6.3% annual rental return for 5 years.

Manchester’s excellent fashion and lifestyle shopping offers everything from high street brands to exclusive designer labels. The 1.5 million sq.ft Arndale Centre is Europe’s 3rd largest city centre shopping mall attracting almost 40 million visitors each year. Greater Manchester also boasts the highest density of professional football in the world with Manchester United and Manchester City helping to position the city as the UK’s football capital.

Transport connected with road, rail and air are excellent. The city has the most extensive bus network outside London serving around 90 million passengers a year, and the city has 5 railway stations serving central Manchester and linking with the Metrolink rail tram service, which operates throughout central Manchester with convenient transportation. 1 Alpha Place’s closest station is Deansgate, city centre, which is within walking distance. Deansgate Station provides access to the Metrolink and mainline train services.
