Everything about Landscope Christie's International Real Estate and the Hong Kong luxury property market

Invest in the Tokyo Property Market & Access Excellent Growth Opportunities

Japanese real estate is currently a popular target for international investors and Tokyo continues to be the focus of attention. Landscope Christie’s has experienced investor demand from Hong Kong covering a wide range of targets in the capital city from high-end residential units to en-bloc commercial assets. Investor sentiment towards Tokyo is positive in response to the devaluation of the Japanese yen, a government committed to reinvigorating the Japanese economy, the planned development of Tokyo notable in preparation for the 2020 Olympics, a broad selection of investment stock, comparatively high yields and rising property prices.

To cater to local demand, Landscope Christie’s upcoming exhibition and seminars on October 16 and 17 in Hong Kong will explore the recent trends in Tokyo real estate, and will present en-bloc residential & commercial investment opportunities that investors can acquire to take advantage of Tokyo’s momentum. The exhibition will be hosted in association with Mitsui Fudosan Realty, one of Japan's most respected real estate companies, and will showcase buildings for sale in Japan's capital city ranging from HKD 5 million through to HKD100 million in attractive locations. Alongside representatives of Landscope Christie's Overseas Investment Team, which focuses on en-bloc property in key markets such as Tokyo and London, members of the Mitsui Tokyo team will be present at the event to provide insight to the investment properties they have selected for showcasing at the exhibition.

Navigating the tax system is an important aspect of a Japanese real estate purchase and to support our real estate experts, a tax specialist will also be on hand at the exhibition to provide an overview of the system in relation to the property acquisition process and to answer specific questions. Mortgages are available for foreign purchases of Japanese real estate, and there will also be a financial institution representative at the exhibition to answer questions regarding finance on the purchase of Tokyo property.
